FAQ

Hack the Northeast is the Northeast’s largest and most diverse hackathon for high schoolers and college students. Students will have the chance to build amazing projects, connect with tech-driven peers, and gain insight into the world of computer science.

We’re open to high schoolers and just recently, college students. If you’ve never coded before, that’s totally fine — we’ve got workshops and tech mentors to help out!

Hack the Northeast is completely free thanks to our generous sponsors. Even better, you’ll have the chance to win thousands of dollars worth of prizes.

You may work individually or in a team of 2-4 hackers. If you’re looking for a team but don’t have anyone in mind, we’ll help form teams at the start of our event.

Please email our sponsorships team at sponsorships@hackthene.com. We would love to parter with your company to bring forwards an exciting event.

Nope, you may only code within the allotted time frame. We may have to disqualify you from judging if we find out you started early or re-used a project from a previous hackathon. Let's have a fair event for all attendees!

If you still have unanswered questions, please feel free to reach out to us at support@hackthene.com or on Instagram.
